The fish is always fresh and is cooked mostly on the grill. It is always very busy and this guarantees a constant supply of fish. The staff is very friendly and professional. Il Ristorante Orologio a Lugano è una vera perla per chi cerca un’esperienza culinaria di alto livello in un ambiente elegante e raffinato. Fin dal primo momento si percepisce la classe del locale, con un’atmosfera curata, sobria e accogliente, perfetta per una serata speciale. La cucina è eccellente: ogni piatto è preparato con grande attenzione ai dettagli, ingredienti freschi e abbinamenti ben studiati. Si mangia davvero molto, molto bene — dai primi piatti ricchi di gusto ai secondi raffinati, tutto è all’altezza delle aspettative. Anche la presentazione è impeccabile. È meraviglioso poter pranzare in un posto dove sentirsi graditi ospiti e non solo clienti. Il locale è arredato in stile tradizionale ed ha una vista mozzafiato sul lago. Il proprietario è di una gentilezza ed ospitalità unica, come in realtà lo sono anche le persone del posto che frequentano il locale e con cui è facile scambiare un saluto e quattro chiacchiere. Il menù è quello tipico con prodotti genuini e sapori unici: sto ancora sognando il lardo speziato e la ratafia fatte in casa. Buona proposta di vini sfusi locali con possibilità di provare più tipologie compreso il vino di uve Americane ( fragolino), difficilmente reperibile in Italia. Prezzi onesti. Torneremo sicuramente. The structure of the Centro Cadro Panoramica is beautifully set in the greenery and enjoys a magnificent view of the city of Lugano, the lake and the surrounding mountains. In this peaceful location, just 5 km from the center of Lugano, we rent around 100 furnished apartments of various sizes and styles. Our complex includes a swimming pool with garden, two indoor tennis courts with two squash courts, six outdoor tennis courts, a mini-golf course and a small children’s playground, all in excellent condition. In addition, there is the “Grottino” restaurant which offers pizza and other culinary specialities. RUSTICS: In typical Ticino style, we have nine houses with apartments and studios of different sizes and furnishings. MAIN BUILDING: In the main building we have 40 studio apartments, most of which have a balcony with spectacular views of Lugano and the lake. RESIDENCE: In the residence we have 20 apartments from 1 ½ to 3 ½ rooms, including parking space in the garage.

Grotto Monte Creda is located in Villa Luganese, surrounded by greenery at the foot of the «Denti della Vecchia». We offer traditional Ticino cuisine, with homemade dishes and local products. Summer specialties: grill, mushrooms – Winter specialties: wildmeat, saddle of roe deer. Large car park, panoramic terrace, banquet room for events and a playground area for younger customers. Reservation appreciated. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Accueil très chaleureux et cuisine délicieuse

Prima volta ieri sera in questo ristorante essendo amanti della carne. In due abbiamo preso le baby ribs alla bbq, una USA steak da 500gr, 300 gr di tartare di Angus e patatine fritte. tutti i piatti di carne erano guarniti con contorni e condimenti ed erano spaziali: le ribs tenerissime, la bistecca rosa ma non al sangue che si scioglieva in bocca, per non parlare della tartare, gustosissima. oltre alla carne che è assolutamente di prima qualità, vogliamo ringraziare tutto lo staff altamente competente, tutti gentilissimi e sorridenti. alla fine abbiamo preso una mousse al pistacchio ed una al ferrero rocher entrambe gustose ma non stucchevoli e poi ci hanno omaggiato di un sorbetto al limone artigianale, anch'esso davvero buonissimo. la loro birra weiss è molto corposa e non amara. Complimenti a tutti, dai proprietari, ai cuochi, allo staff di sala. Ci torneremo sicuramente per provare tutto il menu, quindi non cambiate nulla! Grazie per la piacevolissima serata! Laura
