Thanks to the company’s determination to produce high quality wines with territorial connections, Gialdi Vini is at the top of Swiss wine production. “To each region its tradition, to each region its wine”. All wines produced by Gialdi Vini SA are inspired by this concept, are representative of the individual regions and strongly preserve their identity. The numerous awards received in recent decades reward the validity of this company philosophy. The wide selection of Gialdi products consists of two different lines that differ in their organoleptic characteristics linked to the area from which the grapes come.

The family estate The estate is about 9 hectares and consists of vines that are both owned and rented out, under the appellations “Perroy”, “Mont sur Rolle” and “Féchy”. The “chasselas” is in the majority (60%), growing alongside numerous specialities such as “sauvignon blanc”, “pinot gris”, “viognier”, “cabernet sauvignon” and “merlot”. In our cellars you can find this diversity in fourteen different vintages. Harvesting is done by hand in order to guarantee quality work. The wine, from the producer to the consumer, is a guarantee of its origin and authenticity. Unsere Gruppe vom 100er-Club FC Winterthur wurde in Zandone bestens betreut, informiert und verwöhnt. Beeindruckt waren wir vom Barriquekeller mit dem theatralisch aufgemachten Cheminée mit echtem Feuer, dem informativen Museum, natürlich der modernen Produktion und nicht zuletzt dem sorgfältig betreuten Reifelager für den Aceto balsamico. Die liebevoll gestaltete Degustation bildete den krönenden Abschluss. Beim anschliessenden Diner in der Botega del Vino in Locarno war das Team dort für eine nahtlose Fortsetzung des gelungenen Anlasses besorgt.

Seit ich vor ca. drei Jahren die erste Flasche Wein von der Familie Angst bezog, schmeckte uns kein Wein mehr, den man sonst im Laden bekommt. Unsere Favoriten "Cabernet Cortis" und "Pinot Gris". Die Gastfreundlichkeit ist herzlich und ehrlich. So kann man auch den Wein bezeichnen, den wir nur noch dort beziehen.
