After studying human medicine in Basel and gaining clinical experience in emergency medicine, I specialized in the fascinating field of ophthalmology. Vision is enormously important for us humans and it gives me great pleasure and satisfaction every day to be able to use the major medical and surgical advances to help my patients. The Eye Center with its state-of-the-art equipment offers me the best conditions for this wonderful task and I appreciate the enriching exchange with the whole team.

My free time belongs to my four children, who never get bored. I find relaxation in everyday life on the water and traveling and getting to know foreign countries and cultures always gives me new energy.
